How To Obtain the LVOT View in 3 Easy Steps

How to obtain the lvot in 3 easy steps

• STEP 1 - Start with a good 4-chamber view and fix on the apex and angle the transducer upward (toward fetus head)
  • ​This will produce the "5-chamber view"
    
• STEP 2 - Fix the end of the transducer closest to the apex of the heart
• STEP 3 -  Angle the other edge of the transducer toward the aortic root.
