This website is a partnership with Roy's son, Tony, who had the distinct pleasure and honor of being the final fellow that the senior Dr. Filly trained as head of ultrasound prior to becoming an emeritus professor.
Currently, Tony Filly is in private practice but also on the clinical faculty at Stanford where he was voted Clinical Faculty "Teacher of the Year" in 2014 and 2015. Having been in private practice now for more than 10 years, he knows many of the pains of general radiologists and obstetricians, as well as community sonographers who don’t get to see multiple cases of congenital anomalies every day at a tertiary care hospital like UCSF. Tony will get to “act” as the fellow in our teaching and readout sessions. |
