• Choroid almost never extends into the frontal horns
• So, if you see echogenic material or cysts in the frontal horn, then think hemorrhage!

Prognosis of grade 1 intraventricular hemorrhage

• No large scale studies on prenatal grade 1 hemorrhages, but current data suggests a very good prognosis.
• Neonatal grade 1 hemorrhages have been studied extensively and have excellent prognosis
