Lesions > 6 cm
- Most lesions of this size will be excised and thus our interpretation (while important) is less critical
- Approximately 70% of excised ovarian neoplasms are > 6 cm
- If the decision is made to NOT remove a lesion of this size, there should be a compelling reason

- Conversely to above, if a lesion < 6 cm is to be excised, there should be a compelling reason
- Ultrasound, thus, plays a critical role!
